Yeo Problem Now

Well it looks like the Penguins will be forced to hire a new powerplay coach this season. The Houston Aeros are going to make their former Captain head coach.

It's hard to say what they saw in Yeo from his time with the Penguins, our powerplay routinely underachieved with some of the best players in the world on it so his loss really won't be major in my opinion. If anything it makes it really easy to change things up now. We will have a whole new powerplay this season, like it or not. This is actually a really good opportunity to infuse some new blood in what appeared to be a very stagnant team at times last season.

Good Luck to Mike Yeo though, he was on the coaching staff of a Stanley Cup Champion, and was tenacious enough to keep himself in the sport after a major knee injury ruined his playing career. I wish him nothing but the best.
