
Great deal if you ask me. Engelland's stock rises for every fight he wins and he was no doubt on the watchlist of a few NHL teams already. Also, unlike some heavyweights like Godard, Engo offers himself as a capable NHL d-man who can start nearly every night without bringing down the overall performance of the team.
The money isn't bad. It comes out to about 566k per year which really isn't bad considering the 750k that Godard makes. I think now that unless Godard finds his "inner-scoring touch" in the next few months that this will be his last year in the black and gold.
