Three other bits of Penguins news today.
First the Penguins announced that Defenseman Brooks Orpik will miss four to six weeks with a broken finger. Orpik was injured last night against the Sharks when a Joe Thornton shot struck his hand. He is expected to return close to the beginning of the playoffs.
With Orpik going out the Pens got some good news in the form of Paul Martin's return. Martin is expected to be back for the Penguins tomorrow night, after missing two games due to a cheap shot by Chicago Blackhawk Patrick Sharp.
With the acquisition of Alexei Kovalev the Pittsburgh Penguins have also sent Forward Tim Wallace back to Wilkes Barre-Scranton.
Wallace was recalled on February 5th, and stepped up to fight Dave Steckel. He played 7 games with the big club but had no points and was a -3 in his time here.
*Edit* apparently Martin is just able to practice, he still may be out the weekend.
