That one sucked. The Penguins not only lost the game, they lost Dr. Lovejoy too.
See you in a few months my friend.
Anyway the Penguins did what has become their calling card the past two seasons, played just two periods of hockey. You should never be up 3-1 with ten left in the third and lose. It’s just unacceptable.
Good news is Deryk Engelland had a goal, a big help anytime that happens, and the better news is that Evgeni Malkin had two, not to mention an assist on the Engo goal. The Penguins need Malkin to be a superstar, after all he is paid like one.
Generally a point out of a West Coast game is a pretty decent outcome, when you let two slip away though it really stings.

The Pens finish up this mini- West Coast trip against the Kings. This will be their fifth West Coast game of the season, something that hopefully shows up towards the end of the season with a bit of a lighter schedule.
Last year these two teams met just once, with the Penguins taking the game in overtime off the stick of Jordan Staal. Your only other goal scorer was Brett Sterling.
Hell there were as many fights in this one as there were goals scored.
