I don’t know why the Penguins think they can play 20-30 minutes a night and beat good teams. But that’s what they tried to do against the Flyers, and they failed. Enough about the Broad St. Bastards though.
Who: Pittsburgh Penguins (16-9-4) vs. New York Islanders (9-11-6)

The Pens dominated the Islanders last time out. You will probably remember that this was the big Sidney Crosby comeback in which he registered a point on 4 of the 5 goals scored. What you probably don’t remember as much is Marc-Andre Fluery stopping 23 of 23 en route to the shutout.
Crosby had two goals in that game, the others being scored by Brooks Orpik, Steve Sullivan, and Evgeni Malkin.
Surprisingly Fleury was not the second star of that game. Pascal Dupuis had three assists and got that honor.
We all know 3 ass = 1 goal,
but who knew one goal was bigger than a shutout?
Who cares about three stars though, either?
Enjoy the game.
